Midterms are here! We wish all our residents the best of success. This week, March 6–10, the upstairs lounge/study area of the clubhouse is reserved for studying only. Keep an eye out for our upcoming events this month! We have a lot of great things planned for you. We hope you’ve been enjoying your home here at The Lodges. Maintenance Tips
If you wish to change your unit to either heat or cold, ALL of the thermostats must be switched over together. This means every bedroom and the common area thermostat. Although it’s an option for you to choose your own temperature in your bed space, they must all be on the same system. If you have a vacant bed space in your unit, notify the office and one of our team members will unlock it for you.
Reminders & Updates
- Daylight Saving Time: On March 12 at 2 a.m., you’ll need to turn your clock forward one hour to 3 a.m.
- Renew today to guarantee your spot for next year!
- Refer a Friend Special: You and your friend will each receive $100 if they sign.
- Keep an eye out for more specials to come!
- Pet Owners: Please pick up after your pooch! We have pet stations with doggie bags scattered throughout the property for you. Please utilize this.
Community Events
Free Fish Friday — Every Friday Through April 14 from noon–3 p.m. — We’ll have FREE fried catfish or fried shrimp with either mac and cheese or mashed potatoes as a side. Sponsored by Sammy’s Grill.
Feelin’ Lucky Contest — March 1–17 — Stop by the front desk and guess how many charms (not cereal pieces) are in the jar of Lucky Charms cereal. We’ll announce the winner on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17). The winner will receive a $15 gift card to a vendor of their choice.
Lucky Leprechaun Challenge — March 1–17 — Five small leprechauns are hidden around the clubhouse. Take pictures of them, post them to your Instagram and/or Facebook page, and tag us in it! Be the first person to find all the leprechauns, and you’ll win a $15 gift card to the vendor of your choice! The winner will be announced on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17).
Love My Lodge Contest — March 1–21 — Post pictures to Instagram of your beautiful Lodge and tag us @lodgesat777. Our staff will be the judge and will announce the winner on March 28. The winner will receive a $50 gift card.
LSU Midterms Week — March 6–10 — This week, the upstairs study/lounge area of the clubhouse is reserved for studying only. Please be respectful and quiet for those studying around you.
National Pi Day — March 14 @ 2 p.m. — We’ll serve slices of pie in the cabana while supplies last.
Fitness Wednesday — March 15 from 6–7 p.m. — Our monthly fitness class will be conducted by instructors Dana Guillory and Molly Lingo. Please bring your own towel and yoga mat. Bottled water will be provided. *This event takes place the third Wednesday of each month.*
Cameron at the Cabana — March 25 from 1:30–4 p.m. — CA Cameron Impastato will be making snowballs at the cabana!
March Madness Tournament — March 25 — Join us for a basketball tournament at the basketball court. Refreshments will be provided. The winning team will receive T-shirts! There will be a $20 registration fee, and all proceeds will be donated to Relay For Life.
Crawfish Color Run — March 26 @ 11 a.m. — Join us for our annual Crawfish Color Run. Proceeds from registration will be donated to Relay For Life. Register at crawfishcolorrun.com.
Birthday Bash — March 31 from 4–6 p.m. — If you have a birthday this month, stop by for our monthly Birthday Bash to celebrate! Grab your birthday cupcake provided by Cupcake Allie. Please bring proof of ID when you come. We hope you have a wonderful birthday and many more! *This event takes place on the last Friday of each month.*
