Welcome back from spring break! We hope you enjoyed your time off and are ready to go back to school to finish the semester strong.
This month, we’re working to raise money for our philanthropy, Relay For Life, a cancer society. Please take note of all donation events marked with an asterisk on the events calendar in this newsletter. We hope you choose to participate in as many events as you can and help us make a difference!
Special Highlight
- Maintenance will be entering units to change air filters throughout this month. Check your email for specific dates in which you will be affected.
- Our vendor will resume painting the property. Keep a look out for flyers notifying you 24 hours in advance of when your unit will be painted. Please be sure you park your vehicles away from your unit after receiving a notice.
- You may place work orders through your online portal accounts. If you have any further questions, please call the office.

Lock Down That Internship with the Right Tools
In the coming months, universities across the nation will be partnering with businesses to fill internships for the summer and fall semesters. Internships are a great way to fast-track your career and gain valuable experience in the field you’re interested in. Landing the perfect internship may not be the easiest journey, but if you’re equipped with the right tools, achieving that dream opportunity is within reach!

*Cancer Sucks — All Month — Will you help us make a difference? Purchase an old-fashioned gourmet lollipop for $1 this month! Proceeds will be donated to Relay For Life.
Push Pin Poetry — All Month — In honor of National Poetry Month, we’ll have a bulletin board to inspire the poet in you. Grab a word (or two or three) from cups on the board, and see what poetic phrase you can pin to the board. Add to another’s poem or create your own — the choice is yours! Be inspired and get creative!
National PB&J Day — April 2 from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. — What better way to celebrate National PB&J Day than to eat one? Create your own PB&J sandwich in the clubhouse this afternoon.
*Color Run — April 7 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. — It’s that time of year again! Register for our annual Crawfish Color Run on Eventbrite today! Each registered participant will receive a T-shirt, lots of fun color, three pounds of crawfish, and memories sure to last!
National Pet Day — April 11 from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. — Our furry friends are residents, too! We’ll be delivering a special goodie bag of treats to each resident with a registered pet today.
Sundaes on Sunday — April 15 from 1–3 p.m. — Tasty treats are good to eat! Come on over to the cabana to create your own ice cream sundae on Sunday!
Professional Headshots & Resume Review — April 16 from 5–7 p.m. — Need to find an internship? Getting ready for graduation? Trying to land a new job? Whatever the occasion, we can help! We’ll be taking professional headshots at our clubhouse this evening. The headshots will be edited and emailed to you within a week. Also, bring your resume with you for tips and critiques!
Movie & Pizza Party — April 18 from noon–2 p.m. — Stop by the clubhouse for pizza and a movie!
Workout Wednesday — April 18 from 7–8 p.m. — Join Nard Thomas, fitness instructor and personal trainer from NardFit, for a workout class in our clubhouse yoga studio! Bottled water will be provided. Please register for the class in our office prior to April 18. Walk-ins are accepted.
Front Porch Friday — April 20 from 5–7 p.m. — It is our goal to build a sense of community on the property. We encourage you to get to know your neighbors! If we spot you on your porch this evening, we’ll give you a free pizza! This event is provided by Rotolo’s Pizzeria.
Sunday Fun Day — April 22 from noon–4 p.m. — We’ll have life-size games (including Topple Tower, KerPlunk, tic-tac-toe, cornhole, and Connect Four) and water balloons for a day of fun! Jambalaya Shoppe will provide food, and we’ll serve water and soft drinks! Special appearance by DJ C-Mix!
Earth Day — April 22 from 2–4 p.m. — In addition to our Sunday Fun Day, we are celebrating Earth Day with a succulent bar! Come on over and plant your own succulent!
Birthday Bash — April 27 from 4–6 p.m. — Another year older, another year wiser! We’re celebrating our residents with April birthdays! Stop by the Cupcake Allie cupcake truck to receive YOUR free birthday cupcake!
